This is a fairly early Becker, serial number 111989, and has his early style 8" dial with first pattern hands. The movement is original to the case, but the mounting bracket has been moved down about a half inch for some reason (an extra set of holes is just visible). The case itself has been refinished and could use some more attention. Note great book matched veneer in case back. There is no indication the clock ever had a top, or it was perhaps glued on and has broken away- can't tell. Height 40 inches $500-700
