in a walnut case of double door style with brass appliques. The dial center, weights and pendulum all have a matching etched pattern. One of the weights suffered a broken hook in transit, and we have a similar one on the clock for the photograph. The quarters and the hours are struck on 2 straight steel rods. A small split is in the floor board from a nail in the backboard, can be corrected easily. Beat scale is a replacement; two of the brass door trims appear to be replaced as well; seems to run and strike OK. Height 47" $900-1200
