Elegant, solid, 38 inch walnut case, carved half turned columns, carved crest with shield accent. Lots of intricate carvings, moldings, turnings A dry split in board covering the dial. I didn't attempt any repairs. Original wavy glass on front door and full length side glasses. Easy access to the movement.Movement is 8 day, striking half hour and hours on one long rod. The movement is mounted on metal brackets that are signed "C.G.". The movement is signed "Mann", plus their crown trademark, and a serial number, "87342". Porcelain dial ring, brass inner dial with identical matching design of the pendulum bob. Carved fretwork around the lower glass.
