Nice black onyx dial, beveled glass, engraved numerals with gold paint, and signed only "Paris". Round 8 day movement, bell strike. Movement is signed, "Blot & Trourd, Paris", and "E.D." Outside count wheel, back bezel on a hinge with glass. 90% plus of gilt remains on the metal. There are a few insignificant dings on the onyx. Turned brass feet, felt covering the base. Case is 22 inches high, 21 inches wide. Statue is Mother and Daughter reading a book. A heavy, heavy, clock.
