30 hour wood movement, type 8.213, made by E. G. Atkins for Barnes. Clock is running and strikingproperly on a coil gong. Wood dial is basically very good except for wearand tear around the screw holes top and bottom. One grommet is missing. Thiscase is very different than any we see. Door is beveled, plus the centermirror is very unusual in this size case. Bottom picture is an old hand painted, watercolor oriental scene. Mahogany veneer case is 27 inches high; gesso decorationaround the front has been repainted gold. There are a few veneer patcheson the corners, sides are good.
