This is an ebonized wood case with brass inlay. The case is in quite nice condition with some small dings and dents on the front of the base and a little damage on the case near the eleven o'clock position. There is also some damage to the back edge of the case behind the central urn. The porcelain dial on the time side has been damaged and repaired. The calendar dial shows no damage and the beveled glasses in both doors are perfect. The hands are original. The number stamped on the pendulum matches the number on the movement. The silk thread movement is signed by the maker (Marquin). An interesting calendar clock. Height 14.75 inches
