Junghans Conical Pendulum Alarm Clock.
Small shelf model, statue on top holding the rotary pendulum ball that revolves around the spinning escape mechanism. This clock is unusual in that it is also an alarm, ringing on a nickel bell. Alarm sets and winds in front over the silver dial. The 2.5" silver metal dial has the original painted numerals with the Junghan trademark, J inside a star. All the hands appear original. The dial ring and bezel are silvered brass. The signed 30 hour movement has solid plates and is clean and running. The clock stands 13.25" high, running and operating properly. Light brown mahogany or walnut box case has Zebra striped quarter-round, on all the edges, and it is all there. The cherub statue and support structure are dark gray with highlights and have not been refinished. The pendulum bob and bob drive tee are old replacements. This uncommon little conical is in good condition.
