German RA with some unusual features. The 8-day movement's trademark indicates it was made by the Carl Werner Uhrenfabrik (clockfactory) but it also is marked that the movement was a prototype made by Herman Brankmann.

He later bought the Werner company and in three years had it in receivership. That aside, the most unusual feature of this clock is the large brass angel holding the gong above her head. We have only seen one other clock that used the angel gong. Excellent two piece porcelain dial, original hands, machined brass rings, porcelain beat scale, and the brass lyre shaped pendulum. The movement has a slide in mount, and is held to the mounting bracket by thumbscrews. Walnut case is 35 inches high, top gives every indication of being original as do the finials and base, and there are three good glasses.
