When you get all the finials on it's 40 inches high. Walnut case has a hand carved crown, part of the half columns is carved, and all everywhere, there are unusual turnings, grooves, or whatever. The case was refinished expertly except for a few wormholes that are not noticeable unless you strain. We believe it is completely original, which in itself is unusual. 8 day movement is signed "FM", strikes a coil gong. Nice 2-piece porcelain dial, old hands and key, wall levelers, good brass bob with lyre type brass and steel rods. This is worth keeping.
