22 October 2024
Condition: The movement is signed Barraud and Vicnon, Paris, and has an unusual verge layout, the escape wheel driven through a contrate wheel and turning 90 degrees to the regular train. The suspension spring was recently replaced and is a tad too long, so the yoke of the pendulum is rubbing on the plates, but a repairman can correct this. The movement is complete and sound. The Ebonized case has some wear spots, and other touch up to the black; the brass inlay has been polished. A bruise in top cove molding. Generally good+ condition. Dial xlnt. Height 19 inches
