C.1875, French, Ferrier Bte, Montmartre 22, unknown duration gravity timepiece, a star studded gilt bronze ball that descends a central pole. Condition: various losses: red marble base is chipped in several places; numeral VI is lacking; minute hand (arrow) is missing. Nice quality balance wheel movement is intact, but needs service; vertical rack has some bent teeth. There is a hole in the top finial that held a carrying handle.
