Condition: excellent original shape. This is the first porcelain panel we have seen with a hole fired in with a crystal for viewing the escapement. Surrounding the opening is the same Schweizer, Bte [patent]. The porcelain is decorated with items from nature, starting with cricket, shell and bird at top, a squirrel out on a limb at center, and the bottom with ducks, pair of cranes/storks amidst the shore flowers, all accented with contrasting Asian panels. Height 20 inches [51cm]
