C.1860, French, Hatton a'Paris, Ormolu and marble mantel, surmounted by two finely chased doves, and below the dial a porcelain china plaque with a hand painted cherub floating in the clouds. Condition: the movement has been recently cleaned, and is signed with the maker's name, as is the dial. Most of the gilding is gone from all the bronze, and it has been rubbed over with a gold paint substance. Height 13 inches [33cm]
