German RA, made by Schlenker and Kienzle in the late 1800's. It is a much nicer clock than our minimum would indicate.

When you get all the goodies on top the case is over 40" high. There was always something on top, and it may well have been an eagle or something similar, but not this eagle. It is made of plaster of Paris, not wood. The larger top piece and the three bottom finials may be original, impossible to tell for sure. There are half columns on the door, three glasses, and some unusual finials. The movement is signed, 8 day running, strikes a long iron rod, and is mounted to a large, similarly signed, metal back plate. The porcelain dial is two piece, nice old hands, porcelain RA pendulum, and porcelain beat scale.
