The gong striking movement is also marked AUG 1 Million and No. 477814. The dial and every panel on the case is painted in fine detail with significant historical or religious scenes. The artist name of K. Weh can be found on 2 of the scenes. The case stands on 4 bronze claw feet. There is no pendulum for the movement, it uses a balance wheel. (The clock is not running at this time - both springs are wound tight. The key slots on the dial have some small nicks.) This beautiful clock has not had any restoration done to it nor does it need any. Dial - 3 1/2" Diameter; Case - 20" Tall x 9" Wide x 9" Deep
