France, large gilt bronze mantel clock, with beveled glass sides, adorned with scrolls and swags in the Louis XVI style, the well made pendule a Paris movement bearing the imprint signature of Samuel Marti, the whole setting on a 16 sided base, with floral frieze, and surmounted by a large 2 handled urn draped to the base with floral swags, C.1900 the gilding on this clock case is still very good to excellent. Glass sides are good. Well made pendule a Paris movement, with the mark of Samuel Marti and his medallion award for the year 1900 exposition. Porcelain enamel dial is excellent, and with attractive poly chrome floral accents. Lens over dial with chip at 11. Ht 20"
