Lenzkirch, Germany, oak and cast brass, 8 days, time and quarter striking bracket clock, serial number 226806, c1860, with matching bracket shelf the heavy ornate case with its fancy cast brass decorations and music motif, has been nicely restored. The rear door is complete but needs to some gluing of its parts. The silvered chapter ring has slight toning; the square thick beveled glass is fine. The top brass finial is probably wrong, and at least needs a better replacement post. The signed and numbered movement ticks but no chiming so will need service. Ht 21Ó
