German, Black Forest, 8-note flute clock, this wall hanger profusely carved with Alpine Ibex {family of 3 at apex, and two adults lower], also oak leaves and acorns and the top rail with a quail on each side, 3-weight, one day, time, strike and music, as-found from a barn, Clock dates c1890 the flautist is intact behind the lower doors, all 8 flutes are present; bellows are there but will need re-covering. Original wooden pendulum intact. The rear dust cover and its' gong and the large weight for the flute train are missing. The pin-drum and all linkages are intact. There are minor tips missing from flowers, quail beaks missing, etc, but nothing major; plenty fly specs and dirt. Original hand carved hands are intact. Numerals were replaced long ago and will need attention. Heavy brass plate movement is about 8 inches square. Pendulum is 29" Overall height 39"
