Ithaca Calendar Clock Co., Ithaca, NY, "Hanging Kildare" calendar clock with a spring driven 8 day time and strike E. N. Welch movement and a H. B. Horton patented perpetual calendar mechanism in a mahogany case.

The case is in excellent condition and has a nicely polished original finish. The original paper time dial is in excellent condition with minor wear at the mounting holes. The hour and minute hands are original. The original paper calendar dial is in excellent condition with minor wear at the mounting holes. The calendar hand is original. The movement is signed. The calendar drum papers appear original. The cut glass pendulum bob is in good condition with a small chip on the top glass beveled edge. The door glass is original.

Ithaca Calendar Clock Co., Ithaca, New York, "No. 0 Bank", wall clock, 8 day weight driven movement with perpetual calendar, in a walnut case with a carved pediment top, carved base, ornately carved dial surround and upper and lower finials with papered

the case has a coat of varnish over original surface and many elements have been reattached. The crest is missing its central carved element. The base has a replaced carved element on right side, and a crack repair near bottom. The left and right return moldings on base have been secured with screws in new holes. The dials are in good condition. The wood mask around the dials has been secured with modern Phillips head screws. The weights, crest, bottom and all finials are original.

Mahogany case in nice condition in an old finish. There is small chip on the bottom door frame. Original tablets have some minor loss to the border. Original painted dial is attached to the case with two L-turns. It has some wear to the numbers, some staining and inpainting to repair paint loss that does not affect the signature. Original hands. Period finial that is most likely original. Movement is attached to the case with a screw through the backboard.

Welch, Spring & Co., Forestville, Conn., "No. 3 Regulator B. W." hanging clock with a double weight driven 8 day timepiece movement and a B. B. Lewis patented perpetual calendar mechanism in a black walnut case.

The case is in excellent condition with a few very minor scuff marks. The finish is original. The original painted time dial is in very good condition, nicely aged, with loss at the winding holes and the center arbor. The hour, minute and day indicator hands are original. The original painted calendar dial is in excellent condition. The calendar hand is original. All three glasses are original. The pendulum rod has a nice original gilt finish. The lower right finial has several small chips. The top right finial has a repaired crack. A small portion of the top bezel latch is missing.

E. Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., "No. 70 Regulator- 16 "- 16" dial wall clock, 8 day, time only, weight driven movement in a walnut case with painted metal dial and reverse painted lower tablet

the case retains its original finish with minor blemishes. The lower tablet has been repainted. The dial paint is original and in good condition with minor repair. The damascened pendulum bob and "70" stamped weight are original. The suspension spring will need to be reattached but is present. This is an attractive example.

Nicholas Blaisdell, Amesbury, Mass., 30 hour, time and strike, weight driven brass movement in a rustic soft wood case. The brass dial has a pewter chapter ring, calendar aperture, cast brass spandrels and pewter boss with maker's name engraved.

Early Blaisdell style movement, patterned after French lantern clocks unlike most American 30-hour posted frame movements patterned after English lantern clocks. The simple austere case is typical of early Blaisdell clocks and retains an old finish. The seatboard has been replaced. The hands and retaining ring on the count wheel are replaced. The pendulum and bob are period. The weight is a replacement. Nicholas Blaisdell (1743-1800) was son of clockmaker David Blaisdell (1712-1756) and was one of three brothers producing tall clocks pre-Revolutionary War in New England.

Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Office Calendar No. 10" hanging clock with a weight driven 8 day timepiece movement, maintaining power, and an R. T. Andrews patented perpetual calendar mechanism in an oak case with burl accents.

The case is in very good condition and has been refinished. The original painted time dial is in excellent condition. The hour and minute hand appear original. The seconds bit is replaced. The original painted calendar dial is in good condition with some restoration. The calendar hand appears original. The calendar drum papers are original and have darkened with age. The nickel pendulum bob is nicely damaskeened. The door glass is original. The upper two finials are original, but the bottom two may be replaced.

Edward S. Moulton, Rochester, New Hampshire tall clock, 8 day, time and strike, brass weight driven movement in a New Hampshire cherry case with ebonized highlights, broken arch top with carved rosettes, brass finials and straight bracket feet, Roman

the case retains its original finish. The case compares favorably with the work of New Hampshire cabinetmaker David Young. The brass columns on hood are replaced (capitals may be original). The left side of the plinth has a spline from an old repair. There are two splits in arch on hood door. The finials are old replacements. The painted American dial has partial Spencer & Nolen label on rear. Very nice original hands. Fading on signature and numerals.

Jacob Guthart, Lebanon, Penn., tall clock, 8 day, time and strike, weight driven movement in a handsome cherry case with broken arch pediment set with concentric turned rosettes, three wooden finials, full columns flanking hood, shaped trunk door flanked

the case retains its original finish. The period Pennsylvania case is appropriate to this movement, but has indications that it is associated. The center plinth is cracked below the cap and needs to be reglued. An approximately 4" piece of molding at the rear of the hood is broken and will need to be reattached. The trunk door has been restored with a wood panel after having been glazed in the past. The dial has minor flaking but is in otherwise good condition.
