The mahogany case is made in the 19th Century English style, retains excellent original finish and with no faults other than 2 missing finials, which could be ordered from Timesavers.com. The arched brass dial has a silvered chapter ring and gilt brass spandrels in the corners; slight scratches on chapter ring. Hands are original, but very tip of minute hand is broken away (looks Ok as is). The well made solid plate movement strikes duo-note quarters on original melodious rods. Was serviced a few years ago and is still in good operating order. Height 12 3/4"
