Mr. Terwilliger used to get $800 for these 20 years ago, and we have never had one, so it will be interesting to see the level of interest. There is a small chip in the dial at 9, and wear to the gold finish. We had to sand down the stem of a match to get it in the holder; perhaps you have some small diameter ones (?) And lastly, although he raises his spring loaded arm with great gusto, we found the modern match did not like to ignite. Still a rare novelty item; ticks fine. Height 10 inches
