clock. (Concord, Mass). These clocks are quite rare and it is unusual to have two turn up at once. This clock is certainly by the same hand as lot 443, with minor variations: the throat has and extra applied frame of veneer to give it a look more akin to a regular banjo throat, and the brass pendulum tie down spans the entire area across the case uprights. The unique shaped door with single hinge is identical in both clocks. No signature is apparent on the original dial. Overall excellent condition. Height 29 inches
