some restoration. The statue of Diana has been attractively refinished; the pendulum is original. The black marble base is in very good condition, with only minor abrasion along the bottom molding. Retains original ormolu feet and lion side trim with orig bright yellow gilding. The movement with the mark of Guilmet; the clock runs with brisk action, and of course with no apparent impulse to the pendulum; striking on a bell. Good black slate dial with incised gold numerals, and original hands. Height 24 inches
