Imogene is holding her golden jewel box in a contemplative fashion. The black marble is incised with the lines filled with red enamel. The feet and swags are ormolu with their original bright gilding. The well made bell strike movement is signed Deniere, Paris. The only minuses are the hands that are later replacements, and the bottom slab of black marble the got broken in 2 and glued (only visible on close examination).
