Solid bronze with the original patina and gold accents. It stands 8 inches tall, 8 inches wide and 4 inches deep. The clock weighs in at 8 pounds. The face of the clock has a wonderful geometric pattern. It stands on two legs that end in lily petals that sit on a bronze platform on four feet. The face is inscribed 'made in Austria'. The back bronze feet also read 'made in Austria' and 'ERZOIESSEREI A.G WIEN'. The base is stamped with an 'AG' in a triangle. The glass is in tact, but most likely is not original. The 11-jewel platform time only movement is marked with the Lenzkirch logo, 'AUG 1 Million', Germany, 11 jewels and the serial number 987241 that dates the clock to the later half of the 1890s (according to the British Horological Institute website). The clock is keeping excellent time. The case is in overall excellent condition with only minor wear around the keywind.
