A small skeleton timepiece built to a high standard with five spoke wheels throughout. It is fitted with a London pendulum. The clock probably dates from circa 1840-50. The plinth was ebonised when purchased, but we discovered that under the ebonising lay this attractive mahogany. The movement has been completely stripped and overhauled and the plates polished. A dome has yet to be found.
