The clock is signed for Hry Marc, the retailer, but the movement and platform are by Jules. The platform has a sub-frame, divided lift escapement with a helical spring. A similar escapement is shown on Page 73 of Charles Allix's book and this clock appears in a book by Eric P Smith. The clock strikes the hours and half hours on a bell via a countwheel.
