Neo-classical iron case with black enameled finish; porcelain dial and brass fancy door bezel; brass eight day movement; the sharp gothic roof line surmounts a classical frieze depicting Greco-Roman athletes and military men in bas relief. The fluted side columns compliment the lovely round white porcelain dial with its outside escapement (the little toothed wheel under the numeral 12). The movement of this clock is clean and runs well striking once on the half-hour and the full hour every 60 minutes. 12" high x 15" wide; condition: excellent with a few minor nicks and a hairline on the porcelain dial.
