time and strike in good condition, except for cracked front glass. The well made two day movement retains original crown wheel and verge with pivoted pendulum. It ticks and strikes but is out of adjustment and will need service before regular use. It is quite interesting to see an arch brass dial on the style of clock, not to mention the fake pendulum aperture above the 12. See also the hand painted disc in the top of a village scene in the Alps (with a small repair in the center). A decent 18th century clock, worthy of your attention. Height 16" $800-1200
