C.1820, Eli Terry and Sons, Plymouth, Conn, Pillar and Scroll Clock
Anonymous (not verified)
23 October 2024
in very good restored condition. The dial was repainted by Martha Smallwood (the best) in 1975 (sticker on rear of dial), and the tablet was redone at the same time. The scrolls have been broken and repaired a couple of times, but are original to the case. Feet with repairs and new glue blocks, but old. The label has a hole in the center, but is still fully legible. Retains period weights, crank and embossed pendulum. This clock has lived in one home near Dallas for the last 25 years, and despite the restorations is a very presentable scroll. Height 31 inches $1400-1800
