in very good condition. The well made French verge movement has been purpose made for this case with front wind through the dial. The back plate of the movement is signed Thomas Langlois, a Paris, No. 113. Movement has a well fretted balance cock and a circular silvered scale engraved Retarde/Avance. The delicate cast bezel has a fine engine turned pattern and retains the original gilding. Bottom glass is perfect; top has some tip wear on the under side where the glass bezel mounts to the ormolu throat piece (only visible on close inspection). A great clock for glass collectors; Height 10 inches $2000-2500
