I don"t recognize the figure, but he/she has an open jewel box in front of him/her, and appears to be looking into a small hand held mirror. To the left is a sword at rest. Below the plain plinth is a cast and gilded floral fantasy, and the very base a fantasy of shells and scrolls. Note this clock was dropped long ago and the left front foot was riveted back on (very old repair). At the same time the dial was cracked and is still in need of attention; dial also worn at winding holes; hands do not match. With an 8-day silk thread mov"t, bearing mark of Nicolas Douillon. No pendulum; no bell; needs work; height 13'
