in the style of Louis XVI, in generally good condition. Has a well made silk thread, bell strike movement in good condition. The porcelain dial has blue numerals, but with small chips by the winding holes and another by 8:30; the minute hand is old, but is too short for this dial. The case is finely chased and retains original gilding in "bright" condition. Despite the minor wear and tear which isn't bad for a 200 year old clock, this is a cute item. Note old silk pendulum should have a cast head or sun instead of the plain disc that is showing. Height 11 inches $900-1200
