an alarm banjo (2 weight), with case restoration. If you can get past the re-gilded rope front and the re-painted tablets (done on early glass), this is really an interesting clock. Retains original alarm movement with bell mounted above. The movement has been cleaned and is running. The weights look to be around 25 years old, well done with some oxidation at this point. The tablets are very well executed, the lower of the infamous Boston Massacre (after the famous engraving by Paul Revere). Original dial, alarm disc and hands. If you are looking for an alarm banjo, you would not be ashamed of this one. Height 30 inches $1750-2250
