(invented by Eli Terry on label), with some restoration. The splat is a piece of mahogany and improper. The tablet was replaced maybe 50 years ago, as it is flaking again in several spots, and the putty is extremely hardÖ.has a decent look. Label with some tears but very legible; stenciling on columns weak but visible. If you have a friend with some old case parts, you might come up with a stenciled splat to replace this one, or check with Karen Larson. Best part of the clock is the absolutely fabulous dialóit may look new in photo, but it is original!! Height 29" $275-375
