North West Bridgewater, Mass., 30-hour 2-weight Torrington type wood movement This is a very rare clock in a simple case typical of the Torrington makers. The upper glass is not puttied in but appears to be the original piece. The mirror is a replacement; original Torrington weights. The clock has a wonderful label with the census of 1830 (24 states, territories of MI, AR and FL, plus Dist. of Columbia). Generally very good condition. Height 37" $900-1200
