The hood does not appear to have ever had jacks or finials or even pressed brass sprays. The arched dial has a painting of a Dutch village with windmill, and pressed brass spandrels. Alarm mechanism is now missing, however clock ticks and strikes fine. Note chain is now U.S. ladder chain, and should be standard oval (available from Timesavers) The dial center and numerals have been repainted; American weight incorrect. Despite shortcomings, the clock is basically sound. Height 49'
