8-day, time and strike with rolling moon. This mahogany clock is in generally good condition, but has some points that should be discussed. The base or plinth has had about 6" cut off leaving it a bit squat looking; a modern molding has been added that really isn't tall enough for the job. The movement is sound and complete except for a missing calendar gear. The dial is attractively painted with floral corners; fretted brass hands are original. Nice broken arch hood with carved grapes between the horns. Height 87" $1750-2250
