C.1840, French, Riderless Horse, ormolu figural clock in generally good condition.

The horse has a bridle and there must have been a set of reins attached which are now absent (an artsy person can replace these with no problem) The base with profuse decoration in leaves + scrolls and a bust of a mythical character. The movement is an early silk thread, bell strike, with porcelain dial (with small crack by I, visible on close examination). Otherwise a good, original clock, the gilding in bright condition and a very pleasant motif. Running. Height 11.5'
