This is the same movement used in the small acorn and other shelf clocks. See Robert"s book on Ives, page 255. This movement is original to this case, as is the label (with some holes and tears). The center hole in the dial is larger than normal, and most of the signature is cut off; the tablet is broken in several pieces and glued (small bits missing) and the case has been stripped and bleached and then lacquered so is quite light. Height 19'
