This is a clock has a delicate scroll frame, scalloped dial and nicely spoked wheels (motion wheels are solid), and well shaped and tapered pillars. The old dome is a replacement and although large enough for the clock, will need a new intermediate board cut (the one with velour) to fit the slightly smaller width dome. An example of this frame style with turned brass supports may be seen in British Skeleton Clocks, by Derek Roberts (1987), page 56, fig 2/9b. The chain has been replaced with braided steel cable; pendulum made new by a very good machinist. Mechanically sound and running. Height of base and clock: 11 inches, total height with dome, 12" Reserve $1000
