The inlay on this case is about the finest I have ever seen, swans, flowers and scrolls on the base; fine ivy vines up the sides supporting two nymphs each playing a lyre, each lyre tip with an eagle, and finally at top, a male peacock, his plume fully extended. The movement is a quality bell strike, recently overhauled and running. The fancy lyre pendulum suspended above the movement, attractively visible while running. Height 21'
