in a scroll frame. This clock is unsigned, but is nearly identical to one pictured in the book Skeleton Clocks, by F. B. Royer-Collard (1969), page 14 (clock by Pace, fig1-19). In this configuration, power is supplied with two spring barrels and two fusees, and the additional wheel is added between the fusees. The center arbor is planted at the apex of the front frame and the fourth and escape wheel is held by a delicate cock from the left, and the pallets by a separate cock from the right. The movement is mounted to an oval of cast brass, well finished, with a center hole for attaching to an additional base. Pendulum rod original; bob replaced; dial has been straightened and with cracks. With a replacement old dome that covers the clock, but could use a bottom base that fits better. Height of clock 8.5", with dome 13" $2000-2500
