This is an interesting clock, the movement contained within the pendulum which is in turn suspended from the top of the portico. Overall the original gilding is excellent. It appears that the suspension spring has been renewed and a little inspection cover freshly made, otherwise original condition. Note the rose pattern on the ormolu dial and the tiny porcelain cartouche numerals. The pinwheel movement is very delicate and runs with the most subtle of motion. Striking on a bell mounted to the rear of the movement. Height 19" $5000-7000
