in excellent condition. In the Louis XVI style, this case is draped with acanthus swags, accented by a large flaming torch and smaller finials. This clock is larger than the previous lot. There are the remains of a retailer on the dial: Bouchet a` Paris, and the large and well made bell strike movement bears the mark of Vincenti and Cie (plus initials of an old repair person). The porcelain dial measures 6 inches and is perfect, the numerals and chapter in very dark blue. The movement is running, but would benefit from service. Nice size and impressive; height 27" Reserve $2500
