The walnut case has some attractive floral carving and fluted top finials (center finial does not match, but looks OK). The well made Viennese movement with excellent dial signed Fischer, and with superb, finely cut hands. The cast Biedermeier bezel is old, but not original to movement. The grid iron pendulum (steel with brass side rods) has a kink from an old bend that will need attention; bob OK. Note also fluted top finials are not as old as the case but are very well made, and the two bottom finials are missing. Door lock damaged and case needs a latch to hold door closed. Height 59'
