C.1865, French, Berrolla, Paris, unusual open frame clock, less dome. All supports (front and back), dial plate and pendulum are profusely engraved with deep scroll pattern engraving. This clock suffered some transit damage and the bezel has a front to back bend that is pushing the dial into the hands (correctable). The quality bell strike movement is signed Berrolla a' Paris, as is the 9" porcelain dial. The fancy pendulum appears to have had a mid pendulum adjustment that has been disabled in favor of bottom adjustment. This is a large and impressive clock that merits your attention for restoration; Height 19" $750-1000
