in a transitional style with round top with little bullet shaped half finials all around the curved molding. The quality seat board movement is signed on the dial: F. Rauscher, N. Erdburgstrasse Nr. 5 (mostly rubbed off). The 72 beat movement has been recently cleaned in Vienna, and restrung with slender gut; the dial is perfect with no cracks; smooth weights and pendulum (pend with small crease). Of the 4 inward facing finials on the door, one tip is missing; the case has a deep purple finish, almost black; key-lock door; key absent, and with original bone handle winding crank. Original large stabilizers intact. Still quite nice. Height 49" $2000-2500
