or mercury wheel barometer, in good, as-found condition. The silvered brass dial signed Tognetti and Co. (most of the English barometer makers in the 19th century seem to be Italian). The tube is intact with mercury, and is corked for auto transport (not well enough to ship commercially). Also with a good Fahrenheit thermometer with a silvered brass engraved scale with novel indications: Temperate, Sum'r Heat, Blood Heat and Freezing. Note the top arch is missing (foundation is there). Height 39" $375-475
