This is a very interesting clock. The front and glass are a duplexed, a hinge and hooks for the front glass, and a separate hinge and hooks for the painted scene. To the metal scene is mounted a two tune music box (manual tune change lever) with pull wind. When the music plays, the ball at the bottom rotates and the articulated dancer moves upper torso and arms as well as both legs. This is accomplished by a drum with pins raising and lowering three separate brass rods, connected to the dancer. The teeth on the music box are good, and it plays well. The cardboard dancer has been broken and reglued and could use additional attention (looks OK). Top time and strike 8-day movement is totally separate, with alabaster dial with porcelain cartouche numerals. Generally very good original condition; height 27'
